The bride just came round with spare wedding flowers to apologise for the noise! Obviously she had no need to apologise given we opened the windows to hear it more clearly 😁

Went to view the eclipse at a quiet spot in the Peak District, but half of Derbyshire had the same plan 😬 Took this photo of the roads jammed with cars. Nice atmosphere though - mostly families with pinhole projectors/eclipse glasses but a few ambitious people hiked up with telescopes!

Pizza scissors, which are far superior to a circular rolling slicer. Best boring Christmas gift I ever received.

I ordered a tub of falafels in the online shop and this was all I received. A tantalising glimpse of what could have been mine. To whoever has ended up with my falafels: they go off on 27th x

Who keeps buying these lights? And WHY? Why must I sit in your living room and be subjected to a blinding spotlight shining directly at me? And so many of them pointing in every direction, I can't escape! The Big Light in any room is bad enough without feeling like I'm being interrogated

Tried to brush this piece of moss off the wall and discovered it's not moss, it's spiders. They scattered then reassembled into a blob, terminator style. Right next to my front door. How's your morning going?

Just going through all the old stuff I found in the loft from my teenage years - found a very young looking TB on the cover of a 90s NME

Just found my 2001 assignment brief for the Information Technology module I did at school. We had to make a webpage using (I think) Dreamweaver and demonstrate that we could either use a search engine, send an email or contribute to an online discussion group. I recall being taught to Ask Jeeves!

Out in London this afternoon meeting up with various people on a lovely crisp day! Took a few snaps while walking between meetings:
A photo of a large white pelican with a yellow bill in St James's Park, in the background is a fountain on a lake with a large tree on the shore, many brown and yellow leaves all over the ground and in the foreground is a sign in front of the pelican which reads "Please do not feed or touch the pelicans"A photograph of Big Ben's yellowish brown clock tower attached to the Houses of Parliament, two clock faces are visible showing the time 12:50 against a blue and white skyA photo of a giant Santa built entirely from Lego. He is about 5 feet tall, taking the form of a standard Lego man scaled up. He is wearing the traditional red trousers, coat and hat, with a large white beard and yellow face underneath. He is smiling broadly and holding a Lego snowball as if ready to throw, with three further Lego snowballs on the ground in front of him. He is either a wonderful display of the magic of Christmas or a terrifying glimpse into a future where sentient Lego starts attacking us in department stores.

Folks, I can't offer much this morning. Here's my cat sleeping in a moderately ridiculous position. If you have a pet who sleeps weird, please send pics
A white fluffy cat with a black tail is asleep on a grey leather sofa, lying on its back with its feet in the air, tail curled up between its legs and front paws to the side. The cat's butt is propped up against the back of the sofa so its back feet are in the air.
