Every layer, every setting says collisions should be detected. Turns out it's intended design to drop one or more overlapping collisions, as an optimization. I want to scream. 010

Took too long; combination of age, medication, cat distractions? a bunch of common rotations are precomputed on load, and ready to go. Moving enemies in full 3D should be greatly simplified. Easier for my stupefied brain. 010

torchpatness.bsky.social @torchpatness.bsky.social · 22/07/2026after a series of errors, there were a few problems Figuring out the forward vector (Godot uses camera-forward, which is NEGATIVE z-axis), and the process I used to determine the nearest enemy was error-prone. I basically do vector magnitude without squaring or rooting. I only need a binary answer 020

Because of that, I need to run a Switch with different Spawn Actor requests for each possible enemy. This allows me to assemble the enemy in any configuration I want. 000
