Good morning folks. Today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #BestOfJune26, whatever bird capture you deem your best from the month of June. Captured at the Farne Islands and @tophilllow.bsky.social #birds #photography #EastCoastKin #birdphotography @rspb.bsky.social #CanonR5mkii #ukbirding #BirdLife
Coming up this season for the NFL is the Rookie Percy 'The Tree Trunk' Puffin, he's pictured here with his shoulder pads on. Now don't be fooled by his size because this boy can cover the ground very quickly, and the paparazzi found this out when they shouted over to him 'Big Boy Come Here' and left out the word 'Please'.
In showing how angry at this he was he set off at some speed towards the waiting paparazzi, who didn't stand around to let him close the gap. And having never spoken to Percy before they didn't know how to take his reaction and thought the best way was to not hang around to find out, but has he got closer to the only remaining paparazzi he burst into laughter while that lone journalist stopped shaking.
And then in the quietest voice you've ever heard said 'what can i do for you, and what do you want to know', which put the journalists mind at ease and only asked him whether he was looking forward to the new season starting on the 9th September, to which Percy replied 'wait and see'

Captured at the Farne Islands.Kenny Kingfisher flew by the hide and shouted 'is Alan around', to which we replied 'not today Kenny' so he turned around and sat on the branch looking down at the water while he caught his breath.
So the obvious question to ask Kenny was about why he needed to know if Alan was around, to which he stated that they try to avoid him after he sent a couple of Leprechaun's after them so they could kidnap them and take them over so he could get some photos.
Then Kenny was telling us that one of his friends went missing for a few days and when he returned he said he was sure Aliens had taken him, but Kenny thinks it was Alan so he could finally get some photos of them.
So now they always check to see whether Alan's there before they land to find food and let the usual paparazzi take photos, but that's only if they printed their story about Alan and the Leprechaun's.

Captured at Tophill Low Nature Reserve.Belinda Black-headed Gull was looking a little deflated due to a recent illness which meant she had to be near a toilet in case of an emergency, and so that she didn't get snapped while clearing out the pipes in public.
But that didn't stop the paparazzi trying to get those very personal shots of her, and all because she was dating Bellingham Black-headed Gull who is presently playing for England in the Bird Cup over in America.
Belinda was supposed to be going over to America with a few of the other Wags, but because of her illness she has had to postpone the date she can fly out there. And she couldn't wait to be re-inflated so she could get out to see the love of her life, and Freddie Fulmar had sent a message to say he will give her a personal escort once she is fit enough for the flight.

Captured at Tophill Low Nature Reserve. Now don't let Donna Ducklings cute and young looks get to you because she is a trained Assassin for the Corvidia Organisation, who are on the lookout for the Duckia Organisation who they had heard were trying to expand their business on to the land around their lake.
And yes as you can see Donna is a Duck but she was adopted by Ronnie 'RookItMan' Rook just after he hatched in an alleyway.

Captured at Tophill Low Nature Reserve.
