you arent a burden. you are a human being with wants and needs. having desires does not make you selfish. unless you are sonic, in which case you are not human and everything you do sickens me.

really good post that i really need everyone to absorb

tumblr text post by spiribia: I think it's fine if somebody describes a piece of media as life changing and earth shattering and bone shaking and it doesn't do much for you. I don't think the person who said that owes you an apology or anything. that's just the nature of people being different people

Yeah so this series has consumed my brain power the last few weeks. The new game "The Mermaid Mask" was incredible, and I just keep wanting to replay it and the soundtrack over and over again #detectivegrimoire #themermaidmask #fanart

Some detective grimoire sketches I've done :) Half of these are just sprite redraws, just me trying to break in the art style. It's really fun to draw in! #quillnart #detectivegrimoire #themermaidmask #tangletower

Pen sketches of Madam Tadpole, Magnus Mortuga, Sally Spears, and Zacharias Zephyr from The Mermaid Mask. Mostly sprite redraws.

Sketches of Detective Hawkshaw and Fitz Fellow from Tangle Tower. Mostly of Hawkshaw

the mermaid mask might genuinely be a 10/10 game for me. everything about it is stellar, it was such a joy to play thru, and i'm shocked at how often its writing made me laugh like, i cannot stop obsessing over the way grimoire reads this

Like Tangle Tower before it, the characters in The Mermaid Mask all have 'chibis' that are used on the map screen, diagrams, etc. But since I learned some rudimentary 3D modelling during Crow Country, I was also able to make 3D versions of the chibis, which ended up being incredibly useful...
