Lady at the local chippie saved me a couple of the new 10p coins. When my friend first sent me an article on them a few weeks ago, my first words were 'Are they calling Charles a cock?' 😄😄 (It's a grouse, jury's out on whether its a cock or hen though).

Just changed the headlight bulb on @tonyfishlock.bsky.social's car. Surprised how smoothly it went. In fact it worries me how easy it was. Probably done something unknown which will now render the damn thing fit for scrap 😖😬😄

Thought I'd finally grown out of bringing stones back from the beach, but after reading @dj-acid-reflux.bsky.social's writing about hagstones ... well, here we go again 😄

A belated #Caturday post. This is Judgemental Seagull launching himself from the fence ... not because Spencer the cat was about to say hi, but because @tonyfishlock.bsky.social opened the back door and startled him. I was trying to see just how close he was going to let Spencer get before moving 😄

A seagull in flight having just taken off from the fence he'd been sitting on whilst eyeballing the black cat that was walking over to him from the other side of the fence.

The #AA are fucking amazing. We broke down at 8pm. They *might* recover us just gone 1am. If we're luckly. Apparently the big truck they sent to confirm we're fucked can't make it from Croydon to Brighton.

Picked up a box of 'stuff' off Arsebook yesterday, this #Xbox360 was in there, face down. Just dug it out to try, expecting the RRoD, but not only does it work, it appears to be a special edition. CD tray is borked, so @tonyfishlock.bsky.social will check it out and see if its the belt.

I bought a 'new' #calculator at the bootsale today. It's been like an episode of The Repair Shop this afternoon as @tonyfishlock.bsky.social has had to partially strip it to work out why it didn't quite work and then how to fix it. It's quite a bit of kit ... #Muldivo #MechanicalCalculator

In today's edition of #GrotOrRot I'm pleased to say this laptop cooling pad was 100% grot, as it's working fine now. TBH I couldn't really complain if it wasn't working, as I picked it up for free at the car boot sale this morning.

I have 4 of these, I think, 3 NTSC, but only 1 PAL, and the PAL one is the best as it can be modded to accept c64 peripherals. As I said , I have one and I'm not modding that 😁 www.chrismcovell.com/c64dtv.html

They came with this little bowl, which doesn't glow under my 395 light (the first picture), but does faintly under what I assume is a 365 light. Manganese glass maybe?
