What it means to be human. Sometimes it's unbearable pain. Sometimes it's unbearable elation. Most times, it's in between and we live for another day with hope but not knowing what it may bring. This poem was written by Robert Burns in 1785, providing a connection to our earthly animal companions.

i just realized something... Excalibur was already forged before king arthur drew it. likely then excalibur was forged for a previous welsh warrior centuries before him... meaning Excalibur isnt a medieval longsword... it's not even a roman gladius but a 3rd century Celtic sword like this

Oh wow #bookreview #booksky #Medusa by Rosie Hewlett is a fabulous book. 5 stars 🌟 Definitely recommend. Imagine if Medusa isnt the monster you think she is. Actually she is the survivor of violent sexual attack. Made into a Monster but that isn’t the narrative she asked for or wanted.

Medusa by Rosie Hewlett. Book cover features Medusa as a statue in the centre with a grecian design in black, red & gold around her.

I’m not Palestinian. I’m not Israeli. I’m not from Manchester. But I am human. And being human means my heart breaks when innocent people are killed no matter where, no matter who. Grief isn’t political. Compassion doesn’t need a side. If you still have empathy, hold onto it.
