And am i right to think from reading the stuff you shared that distributed inference ain't gonna be properly secure on a mac until Apple decides it's worth them enabling at the OS level? Or silicon level?

When I left the Co-op I promised myself I would never again debate what is a 'proper Co-op'... or not. Though "Rochdale tradition" is both cheeky and says 'setting up a legal international co-op sounds a bit hard so we'll maybe do it later' to me...

I've been quite insanely productive doing AI projects that are time limited by the duration of a train journey. Forced constraint makes for crisper decision making?

I made my first thing that's aimed primarily at AI Agents. Does anyone fancy helping me test it, by pointing their Ai Agent at it? If so, send me a DM (or just reply) and I'll ping you over details. Ideally, your agent will tread lightly, given it's very early days for my new thing.

I've written a briefing note on 'Know Your Agent', aka how should services prepare for their users/customers sending AI agents to act on their behalf. Much to mull on. d1rnadml6vbx0i.cloudfront.net/Know-Your-Ag... It's rare to do proper research & end up *less* certain about how things will pan out.

Done right, AI really can help you write good software faster. But writing software faster should never get into a top 10 list of factors enabling the creation of successful new services at pace.
