apparently the other main candidate was Teresa Tomlinson en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teresa_... who had some heavy hitters endorsing her (including Hank Aaron). She did apparently quit politics after the race but not clear that it was Ossoff's fault.

I filled this out, although my job (on the staff of the in-house publication of a nonprofit) is very atypical based on stuff I've read here & elsewhere. Relatively low impact from AI apart from some of the reports I edit from volunteers being longer & more fluent (but not more useful from my pov)
