In all the grandiose discussion about colonising Mars, I don't see much about how the soil is poisonous to us. This was only discovered in 2008. It contains perchlorates, which are environmental toxins here on Earth. Any human contact with Mars dust? Super-bad news in the long run. 1/

Reserviakku onkin ehkä huonoin ikinä tekemäni investointi. Takaisinmaksuaika nykyhinnoilla noin 60 vuotta. Saas nähdä kuinka sähkönhinta heittelee kun liikenne ja teollisuus sähköistyy ja saadaan ne 130 datakeskusta pyörimään lähes ilmaisella sähköllä. Tasaista ydinvoimaa tarvitaan ainakin lisää.

In Germany, only trees move less than cars. On average, cars are moved for 45 minutes a day, if they are used to get to work, there are 1,075 people per car. That's less than the average number of birds per tree. I guess.

Kun tuo 'puolivälin' pyykki tuli täyteen, huomasin itsekin ettei enää kuluta kuten ennen, ja päivittäisestä liikunnasta huolimatta paino on noussut, niin kyllä se vaan täytyy hallita vähentämällä höttöjen syöntiä..

Paljon voidaan tehdä, ja paljon tulee tapahtumaan kun rikkaiden 10% henki ja omaisuus on uhattuna. Kuitenkin täytyy muistaa, että vaikka väkiluku vähenisi 70%lla, sillä olisi pieni vaikutus päästöihin ja kulutukseen.

Toivon, että minulla on vielä muutamia kymmeniä vuosia aikaa vaikuttaa. En menetä toivoani, mutta tiedostan, ettei Roger Hallam ja 4BD ole kaukana todennäköisestä lopputulemasta. Systeemisiä muutoksia tarvitaan nopeasti, eikä silti päästä takaisin 1,5°C tasolle n 300 vuoteen (n 10 mallinnusta)
