Sunrise from Saturday at Wheal Uny. The heather now looking brown and the last of the gorse flowering, but treated to some nice light. #lovecornwall #cornwallmining #landscapephotography #architecture #sunriselovers
A vertical outdoor shot at sunrise features the historic Wheal Uny engine house in Redruth, Cornwall. The weathered stone building, with its prominent red brick chimney, is bathed in warm, golden morning light against a dramatic, cloudy blue sky. In the foreground, vibrant yellow gorse and purple heather are softly blurred, leading up to the striking, sunlit structure.

A sunlit, eye-level shot of the historic Towanroath engine house, a roofless stone ruin with a tall, round brick chimney, perched on a steep, grassy cliffside in St. Agnes, Cornwall. A narrow dirt path winds past the building, leading down toward a wide, sandy beach where gentle waves from a bright blue ocean roll ashore. The sky is clear and the lighting suggests late afternoon.A YouTube thumbnail featuring the Towanroath engine house on a cliffside in Cornwall. The day after election. Oakland, California. November 12, 1936 #Oakland #California #undefined #photography #DorotheaLange www.loc.gov/pictures/item/2017763266
The image is a black and white photograph depicting a lively street scene. In the foreground, there's a man wearing a hat and jacket with rolled-up sleeves energetically dancing or gesturing in mid-motion on a sidewalk. He appears to be engaging directly with the camera, exuding confidence as he sticks out his chest. Behind him, various people are present: some appear engaged with each other while others focus on their surroundings.

The crowd includes men and women dressed in attire typical of an earlier era—men's suits, ties, hats; women wearing dresses or skirts and blouses, often accessorized with headbands or scarves. The expressions range from smiles to neutral looks as they observe the dancing man.

In the background, we can see a building structure that has signs indicating it might be related to labor unions: "UNFAIR TO ORGANIZED LABOR" is written on one sign while another mentions an establishment named with possible connection to organized union members. The architecture and signage suggest this could have been taken in a working-class neighborhood.

The photograph captures the essence of community life, possibly during or after political events given its historical context from November 12, 1936, as indicated by additional text at the bottom right corner.

Just wait and see what the republican party does to Major Jason Watson, It will be a worldwide smear campaign by the time everyone wakes up tomorrow like we’ve seen with every other popular figure who has spoken out against this admin.. Be loud in your support for Jason Watson.

Air Force Major Jason Watson, year 17 of his career, stood on the Capitol steps today in full uniform while the temperature reached the high 90s, holding a sign that read “IMPEACH, CONVICT, REMOVE”. He not only called for the impeachment, conviction and removal of Trump but of Vance as well, citing unconstitutional military strikes on Iran, Venezuela and Cuba that killed 13 service members and injured hundreds more. It was not long after his speech when he was arrested. He risked his entire career, his income and his pension and possible prosecution to hold up a sign and speak out against the injustices happening right now. You don’t have to be a “liberal” or “democrat” or a “socialist” to see what has been going on this past year, you just need to open your eyes. Nothing but chaos, confusion and crime.

A vintage black and white photograph depicting a kitchen scene with various items. The counter holds two trays of bread, one filled entirely while the other is partially visible. To their right stands a bag labeled "SUGAR" alongside some indistinct round objects on top of it. In front of these are what appear to be flour sacks or possibly more sugar bags, all featuring prominent text and designs. The backdrop reveals sheer curtains hanging over a window with diffused daylight filtering through them, casting shadows across the scene. To their left is an old-fashioned clock beside another decorative item, perhaps a vase or figurine adorned with flowers that echoes in silhouette against the light from outside. Below these items sits what seems to be a cabinet drawer, and its top surface holds some unidentified objects not clearly distinguishable due to resolution constraints.
