I have an unpopular opinion that has never not felt justified. Subtitles for foreign language films are bad. If I wanted to read, I would read. I watch a movie to Observe the Image. Purists claim dubs ruin the intended effect as if it's preferable to spend 2 hours looking at 10% of the screen.

In South Korea, some video game companies have filed complaints & lawsuits against YouTubers that have purposefully spread misinformation. In China, the government ran a clean up campaign to curb review bombing / fan wars between gaming communities. A growing concern globally it seems.
