TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Sold ADF on HY figures worse than expected. 20% loss but liquidity enough to sell somewhat to my surprise. 010
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 02/08/2026@kevinhowells.bsky.social somehow plenty of money for commentary on the ridiculous hundred though. Not your fault of course. 000
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 30/07/2026When someone (RWS) put out results in small near unreadable font and italics should I assume they really don't want people to read them? 110
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 28/07/2026A number of companies reporting today where the difference between reported and adjusted eps is 5x or more. 001
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 22/07/2026HDD top up today after the impressive TU. IMO the new target price by the broker is not demanding 010
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 10/07/2026@norcrosscricket.bsky.social Over rate with Ecclestone bowling so many is rude to spectators. Aim is to bore us to death - it has succeeded, goodbye 000
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 07/07/2026@englishbridgeunion.bsky.social Is this the youngest pair ever to win European gold for England? 100
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 01/07/2026I have a small position in ADF (small due to poor liquidity). Last 2 days it is moving up on relatively high volume. A possible recovery stock. CEO bought a couple of months ago including a tiny amount into what appears from a distance to be perhaps a childs ISA - no real idea but (1/2) 110
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 30/06/2026posted last month that May was 3rd best May ever & it felt "wrong". Not entirely surprisingly June was 2nd worst June ever as a number of things unwound. Still up from April but too much cash having sold some fallers before they fell even further. 000
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 23/06/2026Sold ZEG. Selling a lot recently, is it summer drift in which case bargins should appear. 000
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 29/05/2026My 3rd best every May (usually my worst month). I mention it only as the two better ones were 2009 & 2020, so recovery situations. This is not where we are which makes me wonder about irrational exuberance. 120
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 27/05/2026HDD even more orders from the US large customer making it look good value if they continue. I have some concerns about customer concentration but hopefully they can mitigate this over time. 000
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 22/05/2026HL reducing their interest rates payable on cash. The direction since they were bought is clear. Squeeze the customers as much as possible. Shrinking the business is an unusual approach for most management teams. 020
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 21/05/2026HDD.L positive update as expected given the recent TUs. Securing tungsten gas for the rest of the year at a known cost eases a significant concern for me. Still plenty of potential here 020
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 18/05/2026@guywsc.bsky.social another TRJ new ball spell with no wickets................ 100
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 17/05/2026@guywsc.bsky.social FYI commentary has disappeared, you may know of course 100
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 15/05/2026@guywsc.bsky.social When do you think Mddx will work out TRJ is not an opening bowler any more? Nearly all his wickets this season are in his later spells. Sharma is much faster & surely needs the new ball 000
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 01/05/2026@guywsc.bsky.social Holman moving to open seems very likely but surely Hollman is ahead of Falconer as no. 3? 000
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 28/04/2026HDD TU. More orders, offet to some extent by higher expenses in part due to the current world situation. Continues to look cheap (i hold) 010
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 12/04/2026@guywsc.bsky.social Is it possible to turn up Roland's mike? Yours/Dave's is fine but Roland is a little quiet. 110
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 18/03/2026Bought some PINE following a thought from the other place. Rapid growth v likely for some years to come & nearly 1/2 the mooted takeover price (that didn't happen). 010
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 18/03/2026NTBR last year FD joins in May, leaves in October no full time replacement at present. Today non-exec chair of the audit committee leaves. 000
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 06/03/2026Sold CABP. Future prospects not quite as optimistic as I thought they might be 010
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 02/03/2026Formal offer for CABP at a price the board has already rejected... 000
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 12/02/2026Sold CPI. Price seems to wander a lot so I hope to be back at some point. 010
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 11/02/2026Bought some RWS on an in line AGM statement. If they make these figures as they seem confident in doing then forward PE under 6 & yield over 9% appears rather cheap. 100
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 11/02/2026A number of small director buys from HDD reported today. I wonder if the recent option awards (grrr) required them to hold more shares? 000
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 03/02/2026HDD announcing more significant US orders shows the potential here, albeit concentrated in 1 customer at present. Looks v good value to me (I hold) 010
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 28/01/2026MARS.L, 14% fall on an in line TU, not sure I have seen that very often. 000
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 23/01/2026Been buying Cabp in the last few days. Price action starting to justify it which is nice so early. Double the H2 results from the recent TU would suggest it is rather cheap albeit a simplistic measure. The estimates from Sharescope look very pessimistic on that basis too. 000
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 22/01/2026HDD positive update in line with expectations. Profitable at last with significant inceases to come. It has the potential for significant increases in profit for some time if the commercial momentum can be sustained. Rather small so I have a v small position but interesting. 020
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 20/01/2026bought some Cabp. Recent TU shows good H2 & if that continues the estimates for the current year will easily be beaten 000

TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 24/11/2025I am reading JK Galbraith's "The Great Crash 1929". The writing is excellent. I feared it would be very dry but not so. 010

TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 28/08/2025@guywsc.bsky.social Commentary from the bbc website is not playing. It says it is set up to start at 11.55! The level of incompetence which is frequent on such issues is amazing. 200
TM @tmtrier.bsky.social · 24/08/2025@kevinhowells.bsky.social Sorry the musak has won I can't listen any more. It has ruined the commentary. 000
