Reasons why everyone needs to slow down and be less kneejerk-y and sensationalist online. 🥹🙏 It's good to be wary and wanna look out for your communities and SocMed is shaped so we interact with it in a high-emotion/high-speed way but action is best researched and strategized.

~"Roman swordsmanship is famous, but the killings between black slaves in America have even been made into movies." IF I HAD A NICKEL FOR EVERY TIME I HAD TO STOMACH A MANGAKA YOUTUBER BEING WEIRD ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice.

Youtuber presents a panel as a demonstration of technique, in the panel, an offscreen in-universe character compares roman swordfighting, and physical fighting between african american slaves, to a fight happening within the story itself.

I can't really draw proper posts rn, I can only draw "off-brand" stuff like this. I'm having fun! Still feels wrong and incorrect. The brandification of human beings.

Reference drawing of a lady with one hand on her hip and another hand on her propped up knee. She's wearing a denim skirt and a tucked in dress shirt.

4 referenced drawings of people. The first and last are models doing quirky poses. The 2nd is a student catching a frisbee, and the 3rd is a guy zipping past on roller-skates.

More people count as furries than one would realize. My thing is I very strictly like like, anything within the Parappa-Sonic-Klonoa-Pop-n-Music realm, so like, Kemono or JP-toon/deforme. Anything that has like, the Disney Renaissance in its DNA is kinda a "cool, but not what makes me tick".

I think if, in the diffusion era, companies were VocalSynth-y (payment, credit, and locally ran) about their TTS, people would have less of an instant-disgust reaction to English diffusion TTS than they (and I) do now. Here we have folks scraping and training on voices w/o consent and it makes me—
