The writing exam was suspiciously easy, but oooooomg. The oral exam. We were all bricking it. It was so stressful! 😱 (We all passed, though!)

Getting to meet people from other countries is amazing, and being put into a classroom where you *NEED* to speak your target language was exactly the kick up the bum that I needed to make significant progress! 😆

2 months, 3d/week, 2hr/class, and 1hr commute there & back has been intense... but it's done me the world of good. My discipline is MUCH better, I've lost a healthy amount of weight from all of the walking (and taking 4 flights of stairs), and the best part is - I've made lots of new friends 🥰

People ask how I do illustrations at very small pixelart resolutions. The trick is practice, and the exercise to practice is this: 1. draw your character 2. halve the resolution (now you can't fit all the details; pick what to keep), 3. halve again to 1/4. After that, 1/2 res feels roomy.
