So..if I'm gonna get into it without being paid to write a column, yeah, I mean the reason I pinned the 'start' of this swing on 2015 is that's when Obergefell was handed down. The -IMMEDIATE- response from Family Research Council was a set of policy briefs specifically targeting trans Title IX.

Family Research Council's Website, under its 'Gender Identity' section, has a brief abstract (taken from the executive summary) of their policy brief 'Understanding and Responding to the Transgender Movement.'

In recent decades, there has been an assault on the sexes. That is, there has been an attack on the previously undisputed reality that human beings are created either male or female; that there are significant differences between the sexes; and that those differences result in at least some differences in the roles played by men and women in society.

The first wave of this attack came from the modern feminist movement and the second from the homosexual movement. The third wave of this assault on the sexes has been an attack on a basic reality - that all people have a biological sex, identifiable at birth and immutable through life, which makes them either male or female.

The third wave ideology is known as the "transgender" movement. This paper offers a description and critique of that movement and ideology. Part I addresses the psychological and medical issues involved; Part II will address the public policy issues.

This is not true. Only a handful of Nazis were hanged for their crimes and the Nuremberg Trials wrapped up because the governments lost interest. This is why postwar Nazis quickly reestablished far right parties across Europe in the 1940s and 1950s. Including in Germany and Austria.

We’re at the “shipping container courts” stage of ICE’s mass expansion of the enforcement system.

Each detention unit would sit on asphalt or concrete behind an office's existing security fence, with a counter for processing people and a separate holding area fitted with a toilet and sink for detainees according to the draft work statement.
The agency also wants a 300-square-foot unit for interviewing people in custody and a 60-square-foot "Virtual Immigration Court Unit" for hearings run by the Executive Office for Immigration Review, the Justice Department agency that operates the immigration courts.
Both must also be designed for their purpose before delivery.
