Realized I’ve only shared excerpts of this and not the actual fic yet 👀 This is a non-canon fix-it fic I wrote after the session where Ira initially rejected Vance 💔 There’s a lil spice, and a lot of my stupid boys setting things right 😌 I’m still proud of this one 💜 #nightshade Link below~!

Summary:
Ira, stalked by vampire lord Strahd who believes Ira to be his reincarnated love, lives with a haunted past and a closed heart. Vance, a tiefling paladin hellbent on heroism, looks at doom with a surprising amount of optimism. Over time, their relationship grows into something more than just "adventuring companions," but when Vance takes the chance, Ira brings it to a grinding halt with a harsh rejection.

That night was the first night Vance felt hopelessness overshadow his determination, and since then, he’s tried to cage those feelings despite how much it hurt.

Weeks later, after they’d finally managed to settle into a façade of mutual apathy, Ira has a surprising change of heart…
