looking at difference of woodless color pencils w 2 wips:
in the hornet pic, i used plastic-based ones elementary schoolers often use. the colors are v nice, but they pill up when layered & the contrast is so-so. the horses i drew w artist-向き ones; they layer v smoothly & have much richer black
