there were 2 areas i couldnt photograph, the honden & the yakushido. both were very striking & gorgeous. instead, have some assorted details from around the shrine! img 3 & 4 look like elephant heads, but are actually meant to be baku (dream eaters), another symbol of peace (they also eat weapons).
