Prestonlanes @timothyziegler.bsky.social · 01/10/20263. The first night I went, Haskins showed, strutted through the door like he owned the place. They immediately threw him a mic and he sang “Schools Out” by Alice Cooper. I watched a lot of Saved By the Bell as kid, so it was pretty surreal. 100
Prestonlanes @timothyziegler.bsky.social · 01/10/20262. Dimples claimed to be the first karaoke bar in the US. The queue to sing a song was always long. Sometimes you’d have to wait hours if you put in a request. 100
Prestonlanes @timothyziegler.bsky.social · 01/10/20261. I, oddly, had several random run-ins with Dennis Haskins. I had a friend when I lived in LA who worked at a Karaoke bar called Dimples so I’d hang out there from time to time. 100
Prestonlanes @timothyziegler.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Guess I’m rooting for the Yankees in the chance they and Brewers make it to the WS so I could see it here in NY. 000
Prestonlanes @timothyziegler.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Point taken, but I remember Piebald’s first couple releases in the late 90s sounding more emo than pop punk. Way simpler than Karate of course. 010
