des demandes d'asile ont été acceptées.
Éric Duhaime conclut alors que 37 % des demandes ont été frauduleuses. Or, ce taux comptabilise non seulement les rejets, mais aussi les abandons
et les retraits, pour lesquels la CISR n'a pas rendu de décision sur le fond.
En réalité, seuls 2,6 % des demandes rejetées ont été jugées frauduleuses. D'avril à décembre 2025, 11 077 rejets ont été comptabilisés. De ce nombre, 285 ont été considérées comme étant « clairement frauduleuses », précise
la CISR, dans un courriel transmis à Radio-Canada.« C'est totalement inacceptable que ces gens-là (les demandeurs d'asile) puissent avoir, par exemple, gratuitement des services pour leurs dents, leur
vue, leur psychologue. »

Vérification faite : c'est inexact, ils ne sont pas gratuits. Un demandeur d'asile au Québec n'a pas accès au régime provincial d'assurance maladie (RAMQ) pendant l'étude de sa demande, qui peut durer en moyenne

Ses soins sont alors pris en charge par le Programme fédéral de santé intérimaire (PFSI) . Comme son nom l'indique, il s'agit d'une couverture médicale
temporaire et entièrement financée par le gouvernement fédéral. Le programme prend en charge certaines prestations de santé supplémentaires, comme les soins dentaires urgents, les soins de la vue et les consultations
en santé mentale. Ottawa rembourse toutefois 70 % des coûts admissibles.
