Erm think what it’s actually doing is underlining how broken your institutions are and how many Americans don’t seem to give a fuck.

Arsenal's cuts are indefensible when the football side is so indulged And they also cut to something much deeper amid current themes, from American corporatism in ownership to club's self image and how they act www.independent.co.uk/sport/footba...

Arsenal cutting jobs just days after Mikel Arteta’s £80m deal is simply indefensible
The Premier League champions have told staff of plans to cut at least 60 jobs, writes Miguel Delaney, which completely goes against the club’s traditional values of ‘doing things the right way’

I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.

This is what has perplexed me the most about all the coverage today post game…bbc, sky etc you’d think they’d be making it clear this current squad is there due to cheating. Instead they default into standard football analysis and describing how the players aren’t to blame.

Nauseating from Pep. The idea that he and others (I’d include players too) weren’t aware is utter bollocks. Even if you weren’t directly exposed it’s long been known City have been doing wrong, it just wasn’t yet proven. For Pep to come out with that statement it further tarnishes his reputation.

Why do this when they can literally impose any punishment they see fit. Why should we have them loitering around mid table with their stench hanging around? Why not send them to the bottom of the pyramid? Fundamentally the most important punishment above all…the owners are forced to sell.
