people do keep talking about when another gay bar in town was harassed by cops and then raided a decade ago, so I hope the owners have linked up and lawyered up, because according to my friends who perform there it's been an ongoing problem for a few months

so like, karaoke I don't mask because I think the vast majority of people are not going to attend a casual singing event if they are too sick to sing. there's still some risk from asymptomatic folks but way less than from randos who refuse to skip a $150 concert even if they're hacking up a lung
