Whew. I used to do this when I was a kid - cover my skinned knees or other injuries with my hand. My dad would be bellowing at me to stop crying and my mom said once that it was like I was literally trying to hide my pain from everyone. Yep. When someone acknowledges your pain, it frees you.

Lots more AI talk today than usual. Here's my take: you cannot offload ANY task to AI without checking it. My colleague asked AI to help her create an intricate spreadsheet formula for generating timecode in a TV show rundown. I thought that was one thing AI could do. Nope. She had to fix it.

I was already pretty happy with my new PT facility after my first visit earlier this week, but when I went back today there were multiple dogs just walking around and greeting everyone! I pet two dogs then did my PT exercises. A GOOD DAY!!

Finally saw The Odyssey today and my instinct is to say that it's not necessarily a good movie, but it is a well-made movie. A great deal of craft went into its construction. But it's also a story of a dude leading men to multiple islands only to have to keep running away after short visits.

My guess is that everything is too expensive now - getting in to clubs, drinks, even drugs. The clothes, the Lyft, a slice of pizza. I didn’t go dancing much in my 20s because of drink minimums, and I loved to dance. I assume it’s even worse now.
