Alexis, hesitant: "What are my options?"

Dr. Erian, motioning to a pair of glasses custom-made for feline facial structure: "Your first option is to wear corrective lenses, though the lenses would have to be custom-designed to accommodate your exact optical issue."

Alexis: "Sounds expensive..."

Dr. Erian: "Most assuredly, especially if you decide to invest in a backup pair in case of damage."

Alexis: "What's my second option?"

Dr. Erian, displaying a close-up diagram of an electronic eye: "Cybernetics. As a field, it is still developing, but replacing your eyes with ocular implants that can correct for your defective optic nerve is within the realm of possibility."

Alexis, worried: "Sounds risky."

Tiger HRT - Chapter 7: Eyes Of The Tiger - Part 1 Today in: Things I wish I knew when I started my transition...

Panel 2: The phone continues buzzing as a white-furred, clawed hand is reaching for it. A growl can be heard offscreen.

Alexis answers, "Go ahead."

Alexis finishes his sentence. "...Which means my vision is going wrong."

Dr Erian confirms, saying "I'm afraid so."

Alexis protests. "Why didn't you warn me?! I read the booklet cover-to-cover a dozen times and it didn't say anything about this!!"

Dr. Erian angrily retorts. "Miss Alexis, do you have any IDEA how many species I am expected to become an expert on, practically overnight?? Some of them mythological or fantastical?? Information is GOING to fall through the cracks, now and then."

Alexis stares up at the ceiling, loosely holding her phone with a defeated look on her face. "Right... So what can I do?" She is visibly cross-eyed.

Tiger HRT Interlude - Dental Plan Part 4/4 And that's the end of this interlude comic! Wasn't that a nice little slice of life story? Surely life will continue to be all sunshine and roses!

Narration: "Later, back at the front desk..."

Tiger HRT Interlude - Dental Plan (Part 2/5) I'm not a big fan of being called a hoax, but there are worse things to be called. I think that went well.

Tiger HRT Interlude - Dental Plan (Part 1/5) Whatever's on that clipboard is either really interesting or really important. I don't think the hygienist even saw me.
