Some wholesome reassurance based on a conversation with @ashenvulture.bsky.social. Remember, no matter how you awakened, it is beautiful that you did. You are beautiful.

Text against a spraypainted trans flag background reads: "Trans awakenings come in many forms."

A pale-skinned person with a horrified look on their face is climbing out of a grave on a rainy night. Text reads: "Sometimes you pass through the gate of death and see the shape of your soul, your consciousness irrevocably sundered. With the knowledge that the uncaring universe puts spirits in bodies that are there rather than bodies that fit, you resolve that if there is a god you are now its arch-enemy."

A dark-skinned person wearing a long red dress is posing in front of a mirror with an uneasy smile on their face. Text reads: "Sometimes you try on a dress for a quick laugh and realize: Oh, this feels nice actually."

Text against a spraypainted trans flag background reads: "Both are valid. Both are beautiful."

A black and orange sign on a path outside that says "Are you tired of being human?"

Aaaand the Secret Santa art i made for @ashenvulture.bsky.social <3

A Vulture dressed in a black vest holding out a tray with 4 round cookies on the left and right side, and a white tiger cookie with light blue eyedrops in the middle, standing in front of a blurry Christmas tree and falling snow.

A Vulture In Therapy I always felt uncomfortable looking myself in the mirror or in photos. I don't take selfies, or at least I didn't. Something changed since then. Maybe I just needed to give myself permission to be hideous before I could be happy. Somehow I still look the same in my own eyes.

An anthropomorphic black vulture holding their phone out in front of them with their wing-claws to take a selfie. The vulture its bright eyed and happy.
