Day 246: Doing a study of one of my favourite artists, Varguy, who does art for the Obojima books. Struggling with the cross-legged pose. 😅 This is basically the sort of style that I'm trying to aim for - vibrant, whimsical, and it's relatively quick to draw but without being too oversimplified.

Day 275: First attempt at cel-shading... I think. I'm not 100% sure what it is and I wasn't in the mood to read a guide. 😅But whatever I did, I definitely like it more than the other method I tried. So far, Dregs McCoy is coming out a lot more feminine than I'd originally intended, but oh well.

My main issue with drawing atm is that it leaves a lot of space for thinking, which leads me either to think about all the things that are frustrating me atm, which makes me not feel like drawing, or to think about my Daggerheart game which causes me to stop drawing so I can go plan something. >.>
