There was a time when to create a realistic game you needed to know maths and matrix transformations to build your own 3D engine first. These days almost all games just use Unity/another engine. The outcome: The world today has a lot more games and a lot more game developers!

I can't believe I'll say this in 2025 but: We, EU tech engineers, should start to seriously consider EU made alternatives to every American SaaS & business we currently use. Tariffs will impact goods but soon services too. We cannot rely on the US anymore as a reliable economical partner anymore.

The Deepseek hype is real. A few reminders as it relates to running LLMs on single board computers like the Raspberry Pi 5. A 🧵 1) Deepseek R1 is not the first open source LLM you can run locally. There are many options out there, some might be more useful for your needs.
