Do your job and impeach him. Stop hoping someone will solve the problem for you by invoking the 25th amendment. All of this stops when Congress decides it stops so stop abdicating your duty to act.

1/ Over the weekend, there was a reported case of plague in Russia. I’m seeing a lot of rumors about the event being spread without facts to back it up, so I wanted to jump on here to break down what we do and don’t know about this situation and whether or not you should be concerned.

The Constitution allows it. South Korea has proven it works. If you want to make impeachment viable—and so much else is pointless if you don't—then it can be done by a simple majority adopting a simple rules change: vote on the verdict by secret ballot.

A Democratic Senate Should Adopt Secret Impeachment Ballots on a Priority Basis
Such a change, requiring no constitutional amendment, would free senators to vote their judgment instead of their fears

A decade or two ago I distinctly remember feeling that with the internet I could become, if not any expert, at least well informed on any topic I became interested in. These days trying to do that feels like digging through a mountain of bullshit with a spoon. I’m old and miss the old ways.

Trust me when I say that I’m sure everyone involved in your care wished that for you too. I work prehospital and by the time you are meeting us or are getting admitted to the ER often we are forced to pick which of the bad options are least bad. Nobody thinks that is ideal.

I can be rough at times, but it is also deeply human and can be very rewarding. Usually when we respond it is because all the other systems that should have helped someone have failed. At that point just being able to move the needle a little bit feels worthwhile.

Hold on, let me start making my Musk-by-Musk list. How can anybody take these systems seriously, it’s just madibs jiberish.
Question:
What did Musk do at DOGE? Be as specific and concise as possible.

Answer:
Official sources do not publish a Musk-by-Musk list of DOGE actions. What they do record is his status, not a verified inventory of tasks he personally carried out.
040
ThrowingSchlitz @throwingschlitz.bsky.social · 30/09/2026
Hmm, when I asked it said it was Amy Gleason, maybe. Definitely not Elon Musk though.
Who is the administrator of DOGE?
America.gov answers:
The United States DOGE Service (USDS) has a USDS Administrator (sometimes called Acting Administrator) who reports to the White House Chief of Staff. That is the formal "administrator" role created by Executive Order 14158.
• Amy Gleason has been identified as Acting Administrator of the U.S. DOGE Service. That is how she is named in court filings and in GAO reporting (Acting Administrator since about February 18, 2025). GAO report 7•
Supreme Court docket excerpt a
DOGE is not a Cabinet department. TheDOGE is not a Cabinet department. The executive order renamed the U.S. Digital Service as the U.S. DOGE Service in the Executive Office of the President. White House E0 7
Elon Musk has been described as a Senior Advisor to the President and a special government employee. White House filings have said he is not the USDS Administrator and is not a USDS employee. Public statements about
"who is in charge of DOGE" have not always matched those filings. I cannot independently verify a later change of administrator from the sources returned here.

Those Pew polls seem like damn good circumstantial evidence that the public is paying remarkably close attention. In 2015 Google’s motto was "Don't be evil". By 2018 that motto was gone. Like damn, they just came right out and said it and people noticed.
