During COVID, I co-produced a film exploring the impact lockdown had on young people’s mental health. Last week I attended the screening and panel, speaking about digital poverty, deprivation, mental health and socio-economic disadvantage. Proud to represent Hartlepool & Stockton-on-Tees 💙

A great afternoon in our community garden with Sycamore Gardening 🌱 Matthew checked our soil, gave us growing advice, and the kids made bird fat balls to take home 🐦 We also planted more community-donated flowers and plants 🌸

Everyone should have access to the foundations for a decent life: housing, food, health, and social security. Very proud to sign this letter from @justfairuk.bsky.social calling on the UK govt to fulfil a promise it made 50 years ago. Let's make these rights real. #ICESCR50

🚨 Breaking: 76 civil society orgs have written to the UK Gov calling for economic, social & cultural rights to be recognised. 50 years ago today, the UK ratified #ICESCR50 and promised rights including housing, food & health. That promise remains unfulfilled. Read 👇 justfair.org.uk/wp-content/u...

Blah Blah Blah
All talk
mouths move
repeat repeat repear
excuse their unwillingness
to comply
to international law
using devolution as an excuse
quoting countries
not even mentioned
nothing to see here
nothing new heard
