🚨 Right now, Tommy Robinson is in London claiming to speak for us. It’s the ultimate distraction from the very real problems we face. But we know the truth: migrants aren’t the problem, far-right billionaires are. ✊ Share this post to make it clear: Tommy Robinson does not speak for us.
A graphic on a black background featuring large, bold text at the top that reads, "ROBINSON & MUSK ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS." The word "NOT" is highlighted in bright red, while the rest of the text is in a light cream color.

In the center of the image are the floating heads of two men: Tommy Robinson on the left and Elon Musk on the right.

At the bottom of the graphic, smaller white text reads: "Hate won’t pay our rent. Division won’t fix the NHS."

Latrice Johnson and Lamont Hopewell
“When we look back at rally photos, we were always side by side.” Lamont and Latrice deliver looks, but they met delivering packages. As former Amazon warehouse workers and delivery drivers, they met organizing with the Teamsters for fair pay and better working conditions. Latrice will tell you she doesn’t like public speaking, but she commands the crowd at union rallies. As a mother and Amazon worker, she joined the Teamsters to make more money for her family, and has been organizing ever since.

Lamont was a Teamsters member through UPS before joining Amazon — only to find tough working conditions, low pay, and virtually no benefits. Lamont’s message to CEOs: do unto others as you would have them do unto you. "If your kid worked at Amazon, what type of benefits would you want them to have?"
The packages Amazon drivers deliver make New York’s industries run — from high fashion to small businesses.
Lamont and Latrice have since left Amazon. Their fight to deliver justice isn’t over.

Earnestine Gay
“Do you want to go to Italy? Do you want to go to Capri? Do you want your job to be protected?”Earnestine Gay will not give a compliment if she doesn't mean it. But she will prescribe a fragrance to make your dreams come true. "Want to go to Italy? Want to go to Capri?" Fragrance, she'll tell you, is one of the most accessible ways to experience luxury. If you can’t dress head to toe in Dolce, you can smell like it.

Growing up in Bed-Stuy, she always loved fashion: when her siblings asked for storybooks, Earnestine wanted new outfits sewn by her grandma. She started modeling at fourteen, joined Macy's for the flexible schedule, and thirty-seven years later still does both — representing Dolce and Gabbana at Herald Square.
As an RWDSU shop steward, she has protected workers and served on the union's executive board for nearly twenty years. Her message to the next generation: join a union.

SONIA CASTREJÓN
“Mis sueños son muchos.” Everything Sonia does is a patchwork of raw talent and empathy. She's been a cook, a tailor, a butcher, a singer. Born in Mexico, she learned to sew at thirteen. Tailoring gave her autonomy after immigrating to the United States. Now, she runs a free tailoring school out of her basement in Brooklyn.
Sonia’s students are the women the world too often renders invisible: low-income mothers, immigrant mothers, and mothers of children with special needs, who cannot leave home to work. Sonia finds secondhand machines, solicits fabric donations, and opens her doors when she has enough. Seven of her students have launched their own tailoring businesses. The waitlist is four hundred names long.
A mother of two, her passion is singing. "Mis sueños son muchos." Her dreams are infinite, and her community is everything to her.
