Lastly, I wish Act III had been more challenging than Act II, which is where the difficulty peaked in a good way, imo, but I get that for people not doing all the routes it still has to be manageable. And while the final boss theme is neat, I wish it hit as hard as past FE games'.

Dietrich's route was my favorite, but all four are interesting in their own ways, adding to more than the sum. Charioteers/War Elephants and the Blessing system were super fun. Blaze arts/overblaze not as much, but that's mostly because they're character-locked unlike Engage's emblem rings.

Obviously the main draw is the narrative elements, which haven't been this engrossing since Radiant Dawn, albeit in a more subtle way. There are a few notable story threads that went unaddressed (what happened with Iliana?) but for the most part it all lands.
