The death of PAC has hit me way more than I expected. Over the past week, most of what I've been reading are tributes and eulogies and personal accounts and all I've been watching are promos and matches. I'll probably write something properly for him on my Tumblr or something like that.

something thats been pretty fucking funny in the midst of the seriousness of the occupation of Gaza that Israel have had the brakes beaten off of them by every single other nation in football at every single level you can think of. Israel get battered everywhere they go.

The 2025-26 Europa Leafue Table, featuring the best Israeli football club, Maccabi Tel Aviv, finishing 36th out of 36th without a single win in eight. Notably, the other big Israeli club - Hapoel Be'er Sheva, failed to qualify at all.

A much delayed game, Ireland vs. Israel, ended 3-0 to Ireland, the score at half-time. The game involved much protest from Ireland to even play it and the players bowed their heads and wore black armbands in memorial for Palestinian deaths. Irish player Adam Idah suffered racial abuse at the hands of Israeli football fans in attendance. It has since prompted a meltdown from the Israeli press, including threatening a bomb attack on the country.

The Scotland Women's Football Team beat Israel's 6-0 and then 5-1 in the qualifying for the Women's World Cup. Israel finished third in that qualifying group of four.

I often think about how the Louis Theroux documentary about the sex trafficking losers and that Adolescents pish was seen as revelations when I feel like it doesn't take that much critical thinking or research to seek this stuff out.
