Glad to have visited #Qassiarsuk (Brattahlíð), #Greenland, last summer. The place will be much less peaceful once the US starts to (re)build their base in #Narsarsuaq across the fjord: construction noise and air traffic. The civil airport was not busy at the time.

Die Chancen, dass es zur geplanten umfassenden Sanierung der Stuttgarter Oper kommt, schwinden zusehends. Nun hat sich der Vorsitzende der CDU-Fraktion im baden-württembergischen Landtag kritisch zu den Plänen geäußert, die nach überschlägigen Schätzungen bis zu zwei Milliarden Euro kosten könnten. Tobias Vogt sagte im Interview mit mehreren Regionalzeitungen, angesichts der schwer angeschlagenen kommunalen Haushalte und drohender Krankenhausschließungen müsse die Politik die Kosten berücksichtigen. „Man will den Littmann-Bau, ein mehr als 110 Jahre altes Gebäude, auseinandersägen und die Teile verschieben“, sagte er. „Es braucht nicht viel Phantasie, um hier ein unkalkulierbares Kostenrisiko zu sehen.“ Die Kosten, die sich die Stadt Stuttgart und das Land Baden-Württemberg je zur Hälfe teilen, seien „unfassbar“. Die Tragödie der deutschen Medien ist, dass sie vor dem "Shitstorm 2.0" unendliche Angst haben, während sie die Kritik der Menschen, die gerne ÖRR hören und Qualitätsmedien lesen, komplett kalt lässt.
Auf der Plattform LinkedIn erklärt sie das Dilemma des ZDF: Wenn logo! mit Siegmund spreche, gebe es „empörte Mails, vielleicht Programmbeschwerden, wahrscheinlich ein Shitstorm“, werde er nicht eingeladen, drohe „Shitstorm 2.0“. Sie erklärt, dass Nachrichtenjournalismus über politische Entwicklungen informieren müsse, selbst wenn Parteien politisch umstritten seien. Knöchel betont: „Natürlich bedeutet das nicht, dass wir die AfD unkommentiert stehen lassen, natürlich ordnen wir ein, liefern Kontext und benennen Fakten.“
