Saw Sinners over the weekend and can only join the chorus in recommending seeing it, especially now in cinema where it's an intense experience. The first half especially, with its engrossing performances and incredibly well-paced, detailed worldbuilding is worth the price of admission by itself.

Working through string revisions with one of my narrative designers today reminded me of a foundational truth here - you have to understand the meaning, intent behind your writing choices, to have purpose in writing. LLMs by definition can only produce facsimiles, but never understand why.
