I want a garden so bad this year but I just don't know if I'll be able to get my raised beds ready in time. Grocery shopping is getting so damn expensive. I miss having a vegetable garden. It saved me so much and I would always have plenty left over for canning.

My entire county lost power this morning. I was NOT about to try and climb atop my car to release the latch to open the garage door just to go to work. So it turned into a mental health day to stay home, try and keep warm while waiting for power to be turned back on.

I bought a 12 foot inflatable snowman because we were never allowed to have things like that when I was growing up. Turns out where I live is too windy and it keeps getting ripped out of the ground and punctured. Should have known I couldn't have nice things. 😭
