@c it's one of a few designs, but these accounts (well identity providers really) have a settings screen to manage them, much like passwords — the UI shown in screenshot 4 is one of a few different designs we have, but where we're leaning towards.

Yes, those screenshots are using Atmosphere (AT Protocol) accounts in them, but this design is intended to work for the fediverse as well!

Youtube now requires all creators to disclose if generative AI was used in their videos. So why doesn't Youtube give viewers the option to weed out genAI videos from our feeds?!

@evan @trwnh @jdlh @quillmatiq there's no interaction or overlap with AT Protocol being proposed here. It just happens that there's been community interest in ActivityPub for domains as handles, and AT Protocol happens to also use domains as handles. That's it.

These changes also land native OAuth Authorization Server Metadata discovery in doorkeeper, upstreaming some code we added to Mastodon. There's also a change to properly enforce PKCE on all authorization code requests allowing for OAuth 2.1 compatibility

* note: client_secret_basic probably shouldn't be used because it's not actually HTTP Basic Auth, because it wraps the username and password in x-www-form-urlencoded encoding which is a right PITA to try and decode.
