Have finally been updating the pull request from last year to improve the ability for moderators to find reports: github.com/mastodon/mastodon/pull/3…

Screenshot of the redesigned report filtering in the Mastodon Moderator UI. It allows filtering for reports from or about a given domain, or reports about a given account.

It also allows viewing all the reports, not just resolved or unresolved.

Like, this is world-changing for anything that needs to do custom domains:

$A safer, more complete version of our on-demand config looks like this: ``` { on_demand_tls { ask http://localhost:5555/check } } https://{ tls { on_demand } reverse proxy localhost:9000 } ``` Now on-demand TLS is enabled because Caddy will ask http://localhost:5555/check?domain=example.com before issuing a certificate for a domain name in a TLS handshake. Typically, this endpoint would be a little program or script that checks your database to see if that domain name is recognized. Some users even configure this endpoint to be served by the same Caddy instance - very elegant! Make sure your endpoint returns 200 OK only for allowed domains or you could be blocked by CAs if your server is an abuse vector!$

These companies openly dictate access to services, sales, or operations, of legal items, or legal businesses, based on their own political views. Credit Card Processors should only be there to process legal transactions, and not dictate what someone spends their money on. VISA and MASTERCARD are so big and control a market that can be equated to a utility. There are no alternatives widely available in the market, despite these companies acting as a key part of all payment infrastructure. Just like water companies or electricity providers are regulated to prevent them from stopping service based on arbitrary views, VISA and MASTERCARD should be held to the same standard.

So I had a sore ankle this morning like I'd twisted it, so I thought "I know, I'll put some warming cream on it", I had voltaren and finalgon from the pharmacy, had never used the finalgon so decided to try it. Turns out this shit causes fucking chemical burns on "sensitive skin"

Previously the status would just appear as the text "Test live poll with edit 🏳️‍⚧️ multiple choice", and there'd be no poll attached, but when you viewed the public version of the status, there was a poll attached.

n.b., The reason the version history shows the latest version as being single choice when it's in fact multiple choice is because status edits didn't preserve the type of poll, just the options, so we don't have that data to display.

Huh, it seems the ubuntu 25.04 arm64 installer hangs if the virtualbox is not in the foreground? The little indefinite loading bar just stops spinning round and the UI becomes totally non-responsive.
