This Dad Read Hiding from the Dark by Kiersten White, Star Wars' newest genre-specific release, a horror novel for middle grade readers. Central to the story is Bia Rovyno, a young girl living on Coruscant whose Empire-employed mother is missing. Bia decides to make some bold moves after her apartment is visited by some unsavory characters, including one whose dark presence and loud breathing are the stuff of nightmares.
