You walk in here and turn on the light and I scurry beneath the sostenuto pedal

sad picture of a music school practice room, it's got bad lighting, cold blank walls, a cheap upright piano, and a wire music stand. the floor probably has mold under it

Part of the video I'm watching and the guy's saying how hard it is to wait for things without using your phone (i.e. waiting for the bus/sitting on tha toilet) More people need to know the joy of staring at a wall and replaying OC music videos you've made in your head over and over again

I'd like to see some more weird humanoid species things for fantasy worlds like that one lizard that changes blue during breeding season "I met this nice guy he's got beautiful brown scales we have a date tomorrow" You show up, he's blue now, and you have to puzzle together some things

It's baffling to me that orchestras will boldly promote a music performance with things like a "trumpet" with a bent bell, 7 valves, and a string on it.

Hi y'all!! I'm coming back from hiatus! Streaming Tues the 8th at 2:30 CST (later if GA duties pile up) to test out if the computer is still ok, new isp, if my new setup will work, and some other things! Lots of scuff likely hope to see y'all there after the 2 month break! yay

Unreal how much UPS is dragging its feet with this claim. Still on extended hiatus for now y'all. DMA study is starting Monday so I won't get a chance to do a fun thing beforehand. Will plan some other things for later 🤪

Because it also uses your profile picture and bio to train the AI model, I recommend not only streamers but also viewers to toggle off this setting! Screenshot from Twitch’s FAQ page: help.twitch.tv/s/article/tw...

What channel content (clips, chat, metadata, etc.) is eligible to be used for generative AI training?

Your stream and the stream's chat, your VODs, your Clips, Highlights, and any text or images on your Channel may be used. If you chat on someone else's stream, their opt-out preferences govern if that chat can be used for training.

Twitch's "Allow your channel content to train generative AI models" setting is here and on by default. Go turn that shit off, streamer!! The toggle is under your Settings, then 'Security and Privacy'

screenshot of a Twitch account's Settings page, showing Security and Privacy and a toggle that reads "Training for Generative AI"

We will *not* be back soon. UPS saw the fragile stickers on our boxes and decided not to give a shit. Our monitors are bent and my computer looks like it fell down a flight of stairs. Hiatus is extended a bit while we sort this out.

Taking #DnD notes in character continues to be the best and worst decision I made for immersion. I have to spend 10 minutes before every session trying to decipher it and it's easily a top 3 player experience for me

Me by the time Zelda fans want to move on from OoT

I have turned to ash and dust because it took that long for people to get over Ocarina of Time. I'm so sick of it it's the Classical Music effect where we keep deepthroating the same 2 guys and never see how incredible the world can be if we give something else a goddamn chance.

Hi y'all! I'll be doing a lecture stream tomorrow! The discord community voted on which music era/genre to cover and we'll be learning about why and how people made/listened to... Music from the medieval, renaissance, and baroque! AND how you can be a better listener to ALL kinds of music!
