unfortunately a necessary one. lots of people are more interested in comfortable beliefs than in accurate beliefs and we need to shake everyone out of that mindset. people's unearned faith in the redeemability of anglosphere "democratic" institutions draws them to ineffective political strategies.

I've now been here for over 10 hours. I've had a canula in my arm for 9 of them. Nothing has been done with the canula, or me. It hurts now. The NHS is so broken. George Osborne, Matt Hancock, Jeremy Hunt, Sajid Javid, Wes Streeting, Yvette Cooper... all of them should be pulled apart by horses.
