Wild to hear my assistant manager basically blaming me and my coworkers for having so much deadstock in the backroom on the floor... When we literally have NO room for any of it on the racks and pallets because him and the other manager orders SO MUCH STUFF we don't even need. I hate this job lol.

DEPENDING on how many Halloween inquiries I get for my retextures, I MIGHT start working on 3D modeling again on the side! I've been feeling pretty motivated again ever since I worked on my Horrorcon booth! Although It depends on how things will go and how much free time I'll have.

Its FINALLY getting a bit cooler over here. I'm not sweating to death at work as much now lmao. I feel like I have a tiny bit more energy than I did the past few or so months.

FINALLY got a hold of HR... and back to job hunting I go. All that chasing for an answer only to be told that I didn't get hired. Cool. Welp, looks like I'm gonna be stuck even longer here at my current job. 💀

The Steve @thestevevrc.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Still nothing from the place I interviewed at. I was told yesterday to call tomorrow(today) and I had to leave another voicemail and never heard back. 🙃 Kinda really sucks tbh since I was getting my hopes up that I'd finally be out of this current hellhole that's been draining the hell out of me.

The Steve @thestevevrc.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

Welp. I called and was told to follow up on Monday instead since HR isn't in today. I'll try following up again next week, but if nothing happens then I might have to go back to job hunting again.

ugh can someone just take away my sinus issues... Been dealing with yet another sinus infection, except its THIS LATE in the year. Its really hard to focus on commissions esp with how little time/energy I have already >.>; it feels like life is throwing some sucker punches at me lately.

Patiently but also nervously waiting to hear back if I got the job or not. I have my 2 weeks notice already prepared and ready to give to my boss tomorrow, but I still need to wait. Hopefully I'll hear back by tomorrow before work if I don't hear back today.

GREAT NEWS!! I have an interview lined up for tomorrow at Shoprite!! By the sound of it over the phone, they seemed okay with the availability I gave them! Hopefully if all goes smooth, I should be out of this crappy job later this month!! Then I'll finally have more free time/energy!!

Welp. I just applied to work over at Shoprite again. I'm not 100% wanting to work there again, but its the only thing I can go to so I can escape this current hellhole. There hasn't been anything good popping up that I could work for and my current job is driving me even more mad by the day.

the FACT there is any furries out there using AI, means we are not being loud enough. Seems some haven't gotten the memo that we are largely against AI. AI is anti-human AI is anti-furry AI is anti-artist You never had to create a character using AI before, you certainly don't now. Get real.

Ugghhh job hunting still continues as my current job is severely overwhelming me lately... I feel like crap that I haven't been able to do much with commissions due to absolutely no energy coming home from work. Sundays and Wednesdays are my only days I can work on them since I'm home those 2 days.

I might have to check out what's going on with my order form. Apparently I'm not getting commission inquiries if someone fills it out D: I am really sorry if you filled one out and I never responded!! I'll probably have to set up another way to contact for a retexture commission. That or DM me here.
