Taking a precious curse tablet from Kegworth Heritage Centre to the University of Nottingham for examination. The XRF machine says it is definitely lead and we are waiting for the results from scanning using the impressive machines at Advanced Manufacturing. Hoping to reveal more of its text!

Things used in everyday life are the real archaeological treasures! These sewing #needles were made from animal bone some 15,000 years ago. Some designs simply don't need to be improved, because form and functions were perfectly matched from the start. Form follows function! 🧵1/2 🏺
