I was unfortunately very aware of this entire campaign. She said shit about building houses, and lower grocery prices with price fixing. Nothing on healthcare, education, or higher wages. Polling is clear, these are the categories that Americans are begging for.

Maybe in a educated country, but we haven't functionally operated this way in my lifetime. We are an uneducated population, expecting people to deep dive into politics is unrealistic.

If she put forward a real populist agenda, any negative stories would have been ignored. But she had no agenda, so it's not surprising that these stories dominated the media cycle. Again, candidates job to get votes.

The same people who proclaim that "we need to save democracy" actually despise when voters use their voice. No one is obligated to vote harris, she simply failed to convince the majority of Americans. She could have been a populist candidate, and this would have been an easy victory.
