To make it clear (my opinion, that is), this is not mainly an advance in shooting down russian drones which happen to fly close enough to some Ukrainian USV, but about the autonomous gun system this USV is carrying, be it to defend itself, be it working on whatever mobile (or also stationary) unit.

There's not "one answer". If there was, it would be "42" which may seem hilarious but it actually isn't. Each step counts and technical evolution only stops in underdeveloped countries like russia where no steps are made but everything "must" be stolen.

Phantastic! 👍💙💛 And it reminds me of the times when I was laught at when, after seeing the first Ukrainian sea drone being attacked by a russian helicopter, I said (then still on Twitter) that those unmanned boats should carry weapons like guns and SAMs to shoot at russian aerial and naval targets.

While returning from a combat mission, an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade was pursued by a Russian drone. The operators of the Ukrainian robot initially tried to maneuver to avoid being hit, but then decided to ram the drone and emerged victorious from the battle.
