so yeah nothing has changed and the show goes on and i know there’s a story being told but that old familiar body ache that snaps from the same little breaks in your soul

that's why I assumed she put the year where they were each released, since I doubt Opalite was filmed in 2026. but then the 2024 for ET makes no sense. hence the confusioonn

140

cowboy like me 🤠 @theremostoftheyear.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

definitely. just interesting that she made (and trademarked) the Fate of Ophelia music video in 2025 and Opalite in 2026, and has been sitting on this particular one for two years apparently

191

cowboy like me 🤠 @theremostoftheyear.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

Jesus THANK YOU lmao, this feels so significant to me but no one's talking about it??? following the logic of how the other two music videos were trademarked, this should indeed mean she made this video two years ago

Fate of Ophelia was trademarked in 2025 and Opalite 2026, so when they were released...curious. Wasn't she still supposedly writing Showgirl in 2024? This is messing me up, someone pls freak out with me

something something about parts of Elizabeth Taylor's life and hers being interchangeable and that's why she herself doesn't have to be in the video and she's just letting it play out for us through a fake narrative idk

2330

cowboy like me 🤠 @theremostoftheyear.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

I'm confused as fuck but all of the wedding imagery sure felt very interesting.....like I know that was simply a part of her life but blondie certainly made some choices here

0321

cowboy like me 🤠 @theremostoftheyear.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

I haven't been able to watch and dissect it properly but the entire music video is just scenes of Elizabeth Taylor. Like not re-enacted by Taylor or anything, literally just scenes from her movies. I am confused but it also feels...big, in a way. Lots of wedding rings.

if a random person I met irl told me they like women and men and are obsessed with Gelphie, I'd (rightfully) assume they are queer. why is it so hard for people to understand when it comes to celebrities? the same counts for shit Harry has said in the past, Taylor, and countless other celebrities

050

cowboy like me 🤠 @theremostoftheyear.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

same thing with Ari like...that woman has said in a song that she likes women and men and then doubled down on it later. that should be enough, right? idk what's with the obsession of NEEDING a specific label confirmed before acknowledging someone already is openly queer

3140

cowboy like me 🤠 @theremostoftheyear.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

I'm happy ofc but also if I see one more straight person being like "omg he came out!!" I'm going to lose it, that man has BEEN out for ages to everyone who understands a single queer flag

a big swiftie tiktok creator made a video about that one scene in the Opalite MV reminding her of five holes in the fence and DELETED my comment saying "shout-out to the gaylors who figured this out 0.5 seconds after the mv got released" lmfao it gets to a point 💀💀

1430

cowboy like me 🤠 @theremostoftheyear.bsky.social · 13/02/2026

ah yeah! my OG point was more about how she released it lol, like we're streaming anyway?? and she never posted BTS footage with the full song on YouTube before, this is the first time she's forcing streams like this and I genuinely don't get why

110

cowboy like me 🤠 @theremostoftheyear.bsky.social · 13/02/2026

I'm not actually mad at her or anything btw lol, I'm just messing around. I'll happily give her the streams if it means so much to her (I listen to Opalite anyway), it just feels like a weirdly desperate move considering how well the album and the singles are doing

130

cowboy like me 🤠 @theremostoftheyear.bsky.social · 13/02/2026

afaik a BTS video like this without the actual song playing in it would absolutely not count toward billboard streaming numbers, bc it doesn't have the actual song in it? that's why she made sure to post the song + BTS footage in one video (and twice, at that, for two streams lmao) on spotify

240

cowboy like me 🤠 @theremostoftheyear.bsky.social · 13/02/2026

that's precisely why, but BTS videos usually don't count towards streaming numbers, right? they're usually a separate video (minus the actual song) posted to YouTube, so she's clearly just farming streams rn and it's a little embarrassing imo

it does! the outfits and set design of that workout she was following was giving Pump It Up! lol, and also the fact that Taylor sprayed herself with the spray thinking she was the problem, etc.
