Found a bug that I might keep? I forgot to add chair occupancy restrictions, and penguin hips are simulated with physics, so you can get in tiny chairs with other penguins and shove them aside. 😆 #gamedev #indiedev #GodotEngine

No Reptiles is so so special 😭 If I remember correctly there was even a real mirror for Enter the Mirror? They didn't do Daggers Edge when I saw them though which was the only shame. Let me know if you're still Bristol based and ever want to rank all their albums over a drink of some sort.

Raw Data Feel is amazing! Over produced is the bare minimum I expect these days. I think Get To Heaven is the one I've gone back to the most over the years, as a whole its such a journey. I saw them play it live in full last year, there were tears. Maybe the 4th or 5th time I've caught them total?

Huge win today getting home assistant to suspend *and wake* my ancient laptop with the homelab stuff on it. Turns out the laptop itself is too old to do things like RTC wake alarms, but MQTT and Wake on LAN have it covered! Been chipping away at that for 3 months just to save 37kwh a year 😅.

📣Audiophile PSA📣 If you have some nice lossless audio and pair of headphones you can crank the bitrate and frequency response waaay up in windows settings. I also found I was getting weird stereo imaging when changing volume recently, and I think turning off audio enhancements in here has fixed it.

#amaze2026 was a good time. Great performances, talks, atmosphere. Very affirming of games and the creative things that happen at the fringes and intersections with other fields. A wonderful mix of people in attendance too. Also Berlin has some special spots to discover. Would recommend the lot.

@xavierck.com my very basic advice that tech artists have drummed into me over the years would be use collision primitives over mesh collision wherever possible, concave objects are a nightmare, and if using unreal look up their UBX_/UCX_ collision import naming as it will save you loads of setup.
