We still show no sign of wanting to use Dibbling #Everton

Ethan Xander @thepennyblue.bsky.social · 01/02/2025

With that goal and assuming he score no more goals today, Beto has a better mins/goal record in the past 2 seasons than DCL has had the last 4. Beto = 271.9 mins/goal DCL = 362 mins/goal

How does Moyes say he’s lacking quality yet choose Doucoure 2 games in a row now?

If the links to Philogene are true it’s more of an indictment of Thelwell’s incompetence than anything. He’s sanctioned the spending of 37.5m on 2 STs in the same window to back up DCL followed by adding a loan to the position this summer on top of it. He also signed off on using 2 loans for …

To post this not in a reply section: If I was to pick an available manager I’d take Niko Kovac without a doubt. His tactics at Frankfurt that made him such a sought after manager is a perfect progression from what Dyche does now. A big emphasis on workrate, defending the middle of the pitch, …

In the modern PL era it’s almost a necessity for teams to be comfortable playing a low block against teams like City, Arsenal, Chelsea, etc. with the gap in squad quality. So it’s unrealistic to expect it to go away at Everton but that being said there is far better balance to be had than Dyche

The longer we carry on this charade that he's good enough the longer we have to wait till he's inevitably sacked so we can kick on under someone that can build. We lose another 18 months by leaving him for another 6 months. As the new manager needs windows and time to build as well.

The approval granted by the Premier League for the Friedkin takeover means that the financial plans which have been part of the proposed takeover have been agreed & accepted. This will include settlement of A-Cap/77 & recapitalisation of the club. Fantastic news 🎉🎉🥂🥂

I uh...I don't think Donner Lake, CA is named after the reindeer...

Image of a TV news graphic with various "Christmas m" towns listed included North Pole, NY, Bethlehem, PA and Donner Lake, CA
Which is named with the Donner Party and not Santa's reindeer...

As difficult as it is to be patient, especially when served with the football Everton offer currently, in a few weeks Moshiri & Dyche will be consigned to history as far as #EFC are concerned

I’m baffled and would absolutely love to hear the strategy on this one. Only Chermiti left in the current squad for next season then with either limited or no fund recouped on Beto or DCL. Relying on loans isn’t realistic, hyperinflated ST market, still facing PSR limitations… BIG YIKES
