Been playing Lego Voyagers as a family, it’s very special and one of the best Lego games out there. 2 player co-op only, it’s delightful, playful, puzzle platformer with building a core part of the game. Well done Light Brick Studio www.youtube.com/watch?v=1V6m...

Yes!! I loved this game. I recommend it to everyone. They do so much with the concept. And the storytelling is remarkably sweet too, especially for a game about two unremarkable Lego pieces

Definitely a more cynical thought, but in a time of memory shortages, increased costs, data center demand I feel like it was > 0% chance. 🙂 CEOs have a history of doing what is most the profitable action not what is the most moral. So was trying to look at the slowdown announcement from that lens.

Theo Watson @theowatson.bsky.social · 18/09/2026
@caseynewton.bsky.social another idea for the push to slow down AI could be that it is against their financial interests. The growth of new models = more compute usage making the data center resource more scarce pushing up their costs to compete. Slowing down to wait for data center build out?

Great episode and wish I’d paused it to read the book but I might still try it out. It just sounds too good! The tone and the subtext you discuss at end reminded me a bit of Shirley Jackson’s work. I wonder if this was an influence on her.

I was struggling until I focused my relics on vigor and damage negation. +2 physical dmg negation is essential. Then max hp and a couple of +2/3 vigor and the other key relics for your build type. Made a big difference. ( plus playing as raider doesn’t hurt either )
