I cut flowers from my garden today and put them in three Growth Vases. We created them in 2009, using a branching growth algorithm to generate the form. 17 years later, I’m still fascinated by the same question: what can we make when we use nature’s algorithms for growth to create art and design?

We need to add a way to suspend sculptures from the ceiling of the studio. The span is about 16.5 ft. The options we’ve come up with: 1) run a cable from a stud to the steel column 2) add a cable hang directly down from the roof joist (not sure if it’s OK to drill a hole in the joist)

Sometimes we find random puzzle pieces and don’t know what puzzle they go to. So we stick them in a little baggie with the date on it. Someone finally wrote us asking for a missing piece and it’s actually one that we have in the bin!

It's been years since we had a functioning FDM printer. We primarily 3Dprint on a formlabs or send things out for SLS nylon printing. I'm considering getting a bambu P2S combo. It seems FDM printing has dramatically improved in the past 10 years. Anyone have opinions on which machine I should buy?
