1-6-25 / 19:13 - 22-37 / NZ Driving on the way to my chosen spot I could see the sky lighting up through the windscreen of the car so I had to pull and make the most of where I was! This happened to be in the middle of Dunstan Gorge. After there I tried a few other spots near by spots!

Tha famous "Formally The Blackball Hilton" on the night of May 11th 2024. With peak Solar Wind Speed of 1000km/s and Bz of -50nT. It might be awhile before we see them kind of figures again! This image was still taken while it was light outside. This kind of photo shouldn't be possible in NZ.
